Something Else

In a rare moment of vanity, (and idle time) of which i do not have much, i decided to paint my toenails after the children fell asleep on Sunday night. Usually by the time the children are asleep I am ready for bed five minutes later, but i was determined to paint my toenails and feel feminine a bit. So, armed with cotton, nail polish and nail polish remover I took to the task, upon completion however I was so sleepy that i went to bed and left all my nail paraphenilia on the chair.

Of course the next morning little miss just had to get into the bag of cotton and began to empty it's contents on the chair, floor and every where else! When I did catch up with miss 'busy hands' i told her

"If you did not touch this bag your name would not be Gabby...... it would be something else"

I then went on with my busy morning, about twenty minutes later i heard her speaking to her father in the kitchen, she said

"Daddy i have a question for you"

"What's the question Gabby?" her dad replied,

"Mummy said my name is not Gabby"

"What did your mummy say your name was?" he answered now curious,

Her reply was "Something else"

I could not believe my ears, my husband and I both had a great laugh!!

Isnt it amazing how children interpret what you say to them?

WAIT!!!!! don't fertilize those little guys until they have their second set of leaves. There are the leaves that you see when they first start to sprout out of the ground....a few days later you will see another set of leaves below the first ones. This is the second set ..they are the first set of true leaves your plants have. I never fertilize before this time...as it could kill or burn the seedlings! hope I helped. I love hearing from you and your blog is so sweet.

I think you have to use either the link list, or I saw this morning that there is one called a blog list. I used the link list so far....it is in the add a page element section...you will have to copy and past the addresses to the blogs you like, on the html line...and then write the name of the blog on the other line. I am so not good on the computer...so I hope this makes sense. It is hard when you all feel like you are just right next door, but I can't just come and help you!

if you are putting the links in the award presentation thing...in the body of your blog entry, there will be a button to push that will say add a link. It took me a bit to figure out that I had to write your blog name....and then highlight it with my mouse before putting the adddress in the insert link part.
