Rock Bottom

OK, I have nothing to blog about today, I had a thought actually from my previous blog where my sister 'outed' me for having a messy home, I thought I would give my thoughts on that.... but nah, I'm kindah messy and I also love to clean which is a strange combination, but nuff said.

So, because I have nothing to blog about I thought I would list 7 random things about me.

  1. Here goes:

I really love and appreciate my mango tree! It is short so the mangoes are easily accessible, the mangoes are huge and I have yet to taste one sweeter!

  2. I really like my portulaca plants! ( they are called 'jump and kiss me' in my neck of the woods), they look so cute this morning!

  3. I went to the beach yesterday, totally unplanned and it was wonderful, I had just finished cooking the Sunday meal and thinking about taking a nap (after checking for a new post from my blogging friends of course) and the husband suggested it, and (very sneakily) he suggested it in front of the kids! so I had to say OK! The drive was wonderful and the beach was a little rough because of the recent rainfall but still worth the journey.

  4. I made fresh bread for breakfast and it tasted fantastic

  5. My cable box fell down for the third time thanks to Miss Gabby trying to change a channel and now it's not working! so it's one functioning cable box for the entire family (I had to watch Design Star in between NBA Basketball!)

  6. I bought a gorgeous lamp for my boudoir, as part of it's make-over, and now it's not working because someone threw it down! (Guess who?!)

  7. I found this (it's a piece from a costume) on the street during last Carnival celebrations, I found two actually because some folks like to dump their costume once the day has ended, I thought it would add to the decor in some part of my home, now I don't know what to do with it, any suggestions? I asked my husband where i should put the costume piece to take a picture of it and he suggested the dumpster! Men!

Well those are 7 random things about me, and just for fun I thought I would make it a tag game......
Justine............ Go!!

Oh how I wish that mango tree was in MY backyard. If I can't have it, I'm glad it yours. Hey, how about putting a soft dim light in the costume thing and then hang it? Probably a 10 watt that is frosted? You know, a chandeleir candle. I didn't get to go to the beach, but we went to the lake yesterday. I sat in the boat and looked at my latest decorating magazines of course! Looks like you had fun too! Penny
PS I'm also messy! I detail the place like crazy, and then I let it get real messy. What's wrong with us? LOL

Hi! I love mangoes. I never ate better ones than fresh off the tree in Puerto Rico. Do you like Mango Salsa? Sounds like it wouldn't be good with garlic and red onions but it's so awesome!

I enjoyed your post!! It was funny and interesting. I think I got tagged for that too and I forgot!! That will be my next blog!

Yes, go yell at your sister for her comment and then blog about it. lol.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. I replied to you there like an idiot and now I forgot what I wrote back to you!

My photos won't do anything for me. I right click, left click, try to drag... nothing! Finally learned to go in html and do it. I don't know what the issue is with exceeding photo limit? I'll probably change my template if I can't figure it out better. Thank you so much for trying to help me like you did. :-) Penny

We went to Veiques P.R.. You have to go by ferry. It has 54 sq. miles but only 4 sq. miles have people. No fast food no trafic light Just a few places that have internet access. A lot of the pictures on my blog are from there. I think we are going back in Feb. Every beach is diffrent. Beautiful. Kathy

Hey Raxx, Thanks for visiting even though Evel doesn't Float your Boat! LOL I honestly not a huge Evel fan either. i just did that post as a test to see if he would comment. Justine got a comment on her T.V. post the other day from him and so I told her I would do one to see as a test. That's why I had two posts today...the Evel one didn't really count!

I forgot to say that I think the costume parts would look cool hanging like lanterns. Maybe you could put some mini-lights in them to make them glow.
