A Gift To All My Blogging Friends

Here are some mangoes fresh off my tree for everyone in Blogland today, I hope i did not come across as hostile for comments in my last post! It was all in jest as Justine would say 'Blog Fart'. So glad to meet new bloggers as well as my regular visitors, please, have a mango!

Here's a question. How come some of them are green, and some are kind of orange? Is one more ripe than the other? Hey, I need to know these things. I don't live in the land of mangoes. I'm in orange country!

Justine :o )

You are mostly right Justine, while they are all considered ripe those that grew on the outside are of the tree i.e more exposed to sunlight would turn that shade of orange and those that became ripe on the inside of the tree would remain greenish in color. This is just one of the many varieties of mangoes available here, this one is called 'Julie' mangoes.

Let's make Julie Mangorita's! Let's see...you have the mango's, I'll bring the blender and tequilla. Who's bringing extra ice? Justine will have virgin mangorita's and make sure we all get home okay. Or we can have Frozen Mango Daq's with rum. Somebody bring some rum and we'll see which we like best.

I'll sign up for the rum and ice! Those mango look good enough to eat. What a treat to have a tree like that.
I like your honesty, you were just a little frustrated, not hostile!
May I put you on my blog list too?
