Friday Fill Ins #6

Another Friday is here and it's time for Friday Fill-Ins, hosted by Janet and you should do it! I'm hooked!

1. The last band I saw live was Traffik

2. What I look forward to most on Christmas is the house spotless and decorated with lights and other decorations, oh and a new purchase, (even if it's just a lamp!).

3. My Christmas/holiday shopping is limited to toys this year (if the kids are happy, hubby and me are happy!).

4. Thoughts of Christmas food fill my head.

5. I wish I could wear a bikini and not have to apologise for the tummy!

6. Bagpipes are cool! but kilts are cooler! (huh Lisa?!).

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to reading up tomorrows lecture. tomorrow my plans include yup school all day and Sunday, I want to make it to beach if the rain would stop!

How lucky are you to go to the beach??? It's been in the 20's here this week...a little warmer during the day. Did you see I posted an angel that reminded me of you? If not, take a look at my "Peppermint Forest" post from earlier in the week.

Hello Little One, nice post today, I love and can relate to your answers. But, I have to say if I was as tiny as you, I'd be wearing a thong to the beach :), that's why God made me look like I do. :)

Love Ya,
Chris

Hi Raxx just wanted to come by and say hello and wish you a happy weekend, I see you will be busy so I hope the rain stops and you get to the beech on Sunday, hugs, Kathy.

I agree kilts are better than bagpipes (have you ever tried playing one of those YIKES!!!
and if the kids are happy then the parents are happy, to true. xoxo

Hey Raxx - I haven't been to visit in a while and wanted to say hi and see what was happening in your corner of the world!! The beach - oh I'm so envious!! I want to go, not in a bikini, but I want to go!! We actually had snow this morning, not much, but enough to snarl traffic and make me late for work - or I should say later than normal for me as I'm always about 10 or 15 minutes late on a regular day!!
Hope you have a good weekend.
Lynette

Hi Raxx, Thanks for your visit, I do love christmas! What a sweet thing for your son to say about his little sister. Kids are precious! Chase is just one year older than your son. He's at the fun age now, but growing up way to fast!

Have a great day, Kristen

Maybe going to the beach....groan....poooooor you :)

It has really turned cold here and tomorrow it has forecasted a mixture of snow and freezing rain....and for the next day, and the next! YUK!!!

It has only just begun, however I'm smiling from ear to ear, as I ran it by all the kids if they would like a trip to SUNNY Mexico as a Christmas Gift....and the survey is finally in, it's "A GO"! Just made the reservations on line for the crew of us and come late January we shall be sunning ourselves on some white sandy beach. Breaks up the long winter for all of us and makes my Christmas Shopping part MUCH EASIER!!! HO, HO, HO!

As I always love hearing about Trinidad, do you have any Island Christmas Customs to share? (For instance do you decorate your Coconut trees like we do our Evergreens? (JK))

Hope your classes are going well Sweetie. {{{Brenda}}}

Goood morning Raxx, just popped in again and happened to read my comment and noticed.....I neglected to say "wish our planned trip was to your beautiful TRINIDAD instead of Mexico." That was my purpose to even mention it. (LOL, see what the cold 'n snow will do to your brain...ha,ha.)

Mrs Ben I have been out of commission for a while, problems with my broadband connection, it would have been lovely to have you here in Trinidad!! Would you have had Christmas lunch with me?

Mexico sounds lovely though, please consider posting once on your blog with pics and details at the end of your vacation!

As for our Christmas traditions, I may do a post on it, as far as decorating goes we follow the western culture with Christmas trees, either fake or real, and lots of lights. As far as food goes it's all trini!

When getting the digital camera equipment somewhere, always make sure you need to do a fast work by means of. Cameras can sometimes involve plenty of little pieces. Even though they don't, you by no means want to be with no battery charger or electric batteries in case. Be sure that you have everything required, particularly if you are going on a break along with it. vi7765ity
